I architected and led the implementation of Wayfair’s next-generation MLOps platform on Google Cloud Vertex AI, supporting 200+ ML practitioners across a variety of data science teams. The platform replaced a patchwork of custom self-hosted solutions with a standardized cloud-native path from experimentation to production - experimentation, data ingestion, training and evaluation pipelines, model registry, model serving and monitoring to catch issues such as feature drift before it hit customers.
The system currently powers high-impact use cases including search ranking, personalization, product recommendations and delivery time predictions. It laid the foundations for all of the subsequent ML and AI driven innovations in the company. Deployment cycles dropped from weeks of manual handoffs to hours of self-served workflows and automated CI/CD. I won Wayfair’s Tech Transformation Award for this work, co-authored three Google Cloud Blog posts documenting the journey and held a talk about it at RE·WORK AI Summit conference.
